Translation and Writing Practice	Chinese-English translation, Short English writing practice	After participating three times, 60 minutes could be added to your self-learning account.
One-on-one Oral Practice	One-on-one Oral Practice hosted by foreign student	After participating three times, 30 minutes could be added to your self-learning account.
Recitation	《Studio Classroom》 Article recitation and memorization	After participating three times, 30 minutes could be added to your self-learning account.
Watching movies and speaking English	English Speech Practice	After participating twice, 30 minutes could be added to your self-learning account.
Four-skill Practice	All-inclusive Practice (Listening/Speaking/Reading/Writing)	If you do an English oral report after reading, 30 minutes could be added to your self-learning hour number each time.
Toastmasters	Recommended activity not in the Self-learning Center, English Speech Practice	No extra time could be added to your self-learning account for participating in activities outside of the Self-learning Center.

You are welcome to join the above-mentioned activities to boost your self-learning account.
You could join each activity as many times as you want, but a maximum of 270 minutes can be added to your self-learning account for the entire semester.
If you cannot finish the time accumulation by participating in these activities before the end of semester, the extra time you’ve earned won’t be added to your self-learning account total.
